How Seel works with ZigZag Returns & Exchanges

Seel provides post-purchase protection for customers who purchase eligible orders. When a customer has Seel protection on their order, you can offer enhanced return benefits through ZigZag Returns & Exchanges, including free returns and an extended return period.

How it works

The setup is simple:

1. Set up Seel for your store

Enable Seel post-purchase protection for your customers.

2. Seel marks eligible orders

When a customer purchases Seel protection, the order is marked with the relevant Seel order tag.

3. ZZRE recognizes eligible orders

When the customer starts a return, the app checks whether the order has the Seel tag.

4. ZZRE applies the Seel return benefits

For eligible orders, the app automatically:

• makes the return free;
• applies the return period configured for Seel-protected orders.

No additional free-return rule needs to be configured in the app.

Configure the return period for Seel orders

You can configure a dedicated return period for Seel-protected orders in Returns Policy.

For example, if your standard return period is 30 days, you can configure a 60-day return period for Seel-protected orders.

The configured Seel return period is automatically applied when a customer starts a return for an eligible order.

Free returns for Seel-protected orders

Eligible Seel-protected orders automatically qualify for free returns.

When a customer starts a return for an eligible order, ZZRE will automatically apply the free-return benefit.

No additional action is required from the retailer.

What do I need to configure?

Once Seel is set up for your store, the only setting you need to configure in ZZRE is the return period for Seel-protected orders.

Free returns are handled automatically for eligible Seel-protected orders.

Example

Your standard return policy allows returns within 30 days and charges a return fee.

You configure a 60-day return period for Seel-protected orders.

A customer places an order with Seel protection.

When the customer starts a return, ZZRE recognizes the Seel-protected order and automatically applies:

60-day return period + Free return

No manual return rule or additional free-return configuration is required.

Important

ZZRE identifies Seel-protected orders using the relevant Seel order tag.

Make sure Seel is correctly configured for your store so that eligible orders receive the appropriate Seel tag.

The Seel return benefits described above applies only to orders identified as Seel-protected.
