Refund methods overview

You can choose to offer your customers money back, exchange or store credit as a refund.

The refund methods that the app provides are:

  1. Refund (money back);

  2. Exchange;

  3. Store credit;

A smooth returns process plays a major role in determining customer loyalty and future sales. You can offer customers one or multiple refund methods.

  1. Refund to original payment method - the customer will expect to be refunded the cost of the items returned.

  2. Exchange - for either different size or color of the same item.

  3. Store credit - store credit allows the buyer to order something else from your shop, without receiving cash back. In this way, the return is not a lost purchase anymore, but it becomes a new sale. Store credit can be issued through a discount code.

While submitting a returns request, customers will be asked to select a refund method.

To choose your refund methods:

  1. Select Return Portal Settings > Returns policy:

2. Scroll down to the Refund methods section and select which refund methods you would like to offer your customers.

3. Select the Save button to save any changes.
