Return methods overview

You can choose to offer your customers money back or exchange as a refund.

 A smooth returns process plays a major role in determining customer loyalty and future sales. You can offer customers one or multiple return methods:
  1. Refund to original payment method - the customer will expect to be refunded the cost of the items returned.

  2. Exchange - for either different size or color of the same item.

  3. Gift Card - allows the buyer to order something else from your shop, without receiving cash back. In this way, the return is not a lost purchase anymore, but it becomes a new sale. Is issued through a discount code.

While submitting a returns request, customers will be asked to select a return method.

 To define which methods will be available for your customers, in the navigation bar, go to Return Portal Settings > Return options > and to the Refund or Exchange Configurations page respectively.
On Refund Configurations select which refund options will be offered, save the changes. refund_config
On Exchange Configurations enable exchanges if you want to allow them as well, save.
